BASCA accepts completed applications and resumes for only open positions listed.  Applications can be submitted via fax, email, and regular mail.   Additionally, applications/resumes may be dropped off at our headquarters offices during the day when our offices are open, M-F 8:30am-4:30pm.  Unfortunately, BASCA is not staffed to perform interviews when applications/resumes are hand delivered to our offices.  

Applications of qualified candidates are kept on file for 60 days.  If a similar position opens in that time, we may attempt to contact you at that time.

All applicants must submit to required pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol testing, (under FTA regulations for driver positions), a background check for Clay County and the county in which they live, and a FDLE/FBI live fingerprint screening.

House Parent Couple

Full-time, Hourly position.  $24k -28K annually per person, based on experience 

Christian married couple at least 25 years of age.  Must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, some knowledge of computers.  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

    Tranportation Driver

Part-time, Hourly position. Up to $8.50 per hour. 

Drives BASCA vehicle on indentified service route, transporting individuals with developmental disabilities.  Must be over 21 years old, have valid Florida drivers license with an excellent/clean driving record.

  Live-in Support Position

Full-time, Hourly position, Up to $10 per hour

 Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, min of 1 year in field of nursing, child care, medical, or working with people with developmental disabilities.

Direct Care Staff Positions

All positions are part-time, hourly.  Schedules vary, and service may be provided in private homes or BASCA facilities.

Trainer for Adult Day Training

Part-time, Hourly position  Starts at $7.31 - $8.50 hr.

Supported Employment

 Part -time, Hourly position Starts at $12.00 - $15.00 hr.
