Volunteers

Volunteers are always welcome at BASCA.  There are a wide variety of ways to get involved with our organization.

We are always building something, or renovating something else, or just doing regular maintenance on our homes and offices.  But if that sounds dull, come teach a computer class or lead our activity or craft class.  Are you musically inclined?  Come and sing along.  Go bowling on Saturday afternoons.  There are many ways to reach out and pitch in at BASCA. 

There are also ministry opportunities allowing groups to get involved together. Tell us what you would like to do.  Here is a sampling of current

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Teach Gardening
• Build Website
• Office Work
• Help fold & mail newsletter
• Make drawings with AutoCAD or Auto Sketch
• Help with yard work/painting at group homes
• Install attic insulation (Pine Forest Residence)
• BECOME a Board Member
• Pressure Washing
• Handy Work

Volunteer/ Ministry Needs

Activity Night - Tuesdays at 7:00pm, BASCA Headquarters (841 Plainfield Drive, OP).

Volunteers are needed to help one on one in the computer lab or with craft projects.

Donations

To go along with our building, renovating and repairing schedule we have needs for materials too. 

Can't donate your time?  Donate:

• Couch
• Table Saw 
• Office/Desk Chairs
• Flat Screen TV
• Dining Room Chairs
• Small Metal Shed

These are just a few of the items we are in need of.

As a growing organization we do our best to make use of usable items in our homes or at our ADT centers.  Give us a call if you have an item you think we could use, even if it isn't on our needs list.
